This weekend, the 24. and 25. October, our delegation (my family included) visited the South naber country, Croatia for the exhibition. After two years since I was there the last time they made quite some progression on the exhibition quallity. They even brought in a world renown bonsai artist Mauro Stemberger, the president of the Italian UBI. It was a nice weekend with old and new friends.

A nice peace of material.
Again there was quite a lot of blood.

This is a willow bonsai, that came to be from a branch of a big willow tree. That happened last year in spring. The first year it allredy formed a nice crown. But sadly most of the branches froze in winter and died off. The only solution then wass to restyle it into a shohin. And that with air layering. I layered it this year, in july, and transplanted it yesterday, after only 4 months. See the results for yourselves.
I planted it into this ERIN pot, which is probably the final one.
